My Genealogy Project.

It was my father, Rubens Rodrigues, who initiated the research. After he passed way, the research came to a halt. Few years back, I started to research for information, to find all the documents that will help me get the Italian passport, and that was the moment, that thinks became interesting. I have discovered many facts and histories about our ancestors and families, and I was bitten by the genealogy bug. These facts and histories are, by themselves, very strong motives to continue the research, but not the only ones. I have had the pleasure of re-encounter relatives, which I had, not seem for a long time, and also, met relatives that I did not know I had.
The best part is, that everyone I have spoken to, liked the idea of my work, and they all have been collaborating with more information, new histories and facts, lots of pictures, some old, some new, of the families I am researching.
With all this amount of information, I might even start to write a book, about our ancestors, and their legacy to us.

Two types of view.

For now, I have these two ways for displaying the information. The first one is a list of all the names. The second is a nice program called phpGedview, that I found on the net, that allow us to edit directly on my site, as long as you have made a request for a user id.
